AIMS & OBJECTIVES
The IT Department was established in 2010-2011 to fulfil the growing needs of computer professionals in the field of Information Technology. This is an integrated three year full time course and conducted in six semesters. The booming IT job sector in India is a sure indicator that Indian software professionals are highly valued. Keeping in view the fast expanding market for software professionals, the college has started a three-year B.Sc. course in Information technology. This course in IT covers subjects as diverse as programming, algorithms, mathematics, digital electronics, Microprocessors, Web designing, etc. The main emphasis of this course is to impart knowledge and training in Information Technology. The courses of IT department are designed to train and educate students as per the requirements of the software industry & research organizations.

• To provide facilities and services to enhance the quality of students in both academic and extracurricular activities.
• Produce graduates who can become information technology professionals, able to work effectively at planning, implementing, configuring and maintaining an organization’s computing infrastructure.
• Provide IT graduates with practical skills and knowledge to take on appropriate professional positions in information technology upon graduation and grow into leadership positions or graduate studies in the field.
