The Sadanand Sudam Patil Library (The Central Library) of G.B. Tatha Tatyasaheb Khare Commerce, P.G. Dhere Arts and M.J. Bhosale Science College, Guhagar was established in the year 1992. Since then the library has made consistent progress in terms of collection of books, periodicals, CDs, E-resources, services and has provided Infrastructure.
The Library plays a vital role in supporting teaching and learning activities. It is an invaluable source of information to complement the course curriculum as well as enrich user’s self-development.
The Library is computerized with INFLIBNET SOUL 2.0 Software and subscribed various E- Resources under INFLIBNET N-List Programme.
All registered students, faculty members and Non-teaching staff of thecollege are entitled to register as members of the Library and to use the facilities & services offered for the purpose of their academic, research and administrative work. Use of Library facilities and services implies acceptance of Library rules and procedures.

Collection and Resources
The Library collection consist of 13000+ books and 55 Journals and Magazines covering the subject areas corresponding to the academic programmes and activities of the college. The books are arranged according to the Dewey decimal classification system.

Orientation and Training
The Library offers the Information Literacy and orientation program to the students and others in the beginning of every academic year. Through this program, an effort is made to familiarize every new member with the resources, services, and facilities offered by the Library and its policies to use the same. The Library will be happy to offer training programs to assist users to develop the ability to locate, identify, use, and interpret information effectively. Library would like to promote the role of the library as a resource for lifelong learning, through this program.

Distribution of Merit Cards (Additional Borrow Card) for meritorious students (i.e. first three students of each class)
The Library runs backward class book bank scheme out of aid form University of Mumbai. Books on returnable term are given to the socially backward class students for the whole academic year.
